Stadium

The Oval Stadium, located in East Belfast, has been the home of Glentoran F.C. since 1892.

In February 2024, Glentoran submitted plans for a significant redevelopment of the stadium under planning application LA04/2024/0211/F. The proposed redevelopment entails demolishing existing stands and constructing two new spectator stands, along with reconfiguring existing standing terraces at the goal ends. Additionally, the plans include installing new turnstiles, floodlighting, additional car parking, and enhancing circulation routes to provide an overall capacity for 6,000 spectators on site.
