The Keep, located on Castle Lane, is a multi-million-pound project that involves the refurbishment of the former BHS building. Alterity Investments acquired the property in early 2021, which had been vacant for nearly five years following BHS's administration in 2016.
The project includes a reconfiguration of the ground floor to accommodate multiple retail units and a change of use on the upper floors for leisure purposes. The Keep will offer a total of 70,000 sq ft of space across four floors, featuring frontages onto Castle Lane, Castle Arcade, and Cornmarket.
H&M has been confirmed as a key tenant and are set to occupy a two-storey, 20,000 sq ft unit. Europe's largest footwear retailer, Deichmann will take up a 8,000 sq ft unit within the building.
Completion is expected in early 2024
