Portview Trade Centre, located in East Belfast, was originally the Strand Spinning Mill, a linen spinning mill built in the early 1900s. As the production of linen and synthetic fibers declined in Belfast, the mill ceased operations in the early 1980s. The site was then sold and converted into workspaces for small businesses.
In 2021, Portview Trade Centre opened a living museum and events space called 'Banana Block' which features an interactive display of banana plants, and a museum highlighting the history of the building.
In 2022, Boundary Brewing opened a permanent Taproom within Portview Trade Centre.
