Halt Belfast is a proposed temporary street food market and community space at the former Europa Bus Centre in Belfast.
Planning application LA04/2025/0447/F, submitted in February 2025, seeks permission for a five-year change of use, transforming the former bus station into a hospitality venue featuring a food and drink market, bar, retail units, and entertainment space. The development will also include seating areas, exhibition space, cycle parking, and service infrastructure.
The scheme will support around 40 jobs and is expected to open in summer 2025. It will also host ‘Platform’, a community and innovation hub operated by Co-operation Ireland, aimed at supporting local initiatives and inclusive programming.
