Filthy McNastys is a popular bar located on the Dublin Road in Belfast. The bar was previously known as Dempseys, which closed in 2007 due to fire damage.
In April 2023, a planning application (LA04/2023/3030/F) was submitted to redevelop the site into an 11-story purpose-built managed student accommodation scheme comprising 201 rooms, with ground floor retail space.
In December 2023, those plans were approved by Belfast City Council planning committee.
