Europa Bus Centre was a major bus station located on Glengall Street in Belfast, operating since its opening in 1991. Situated on the ground floor of the Great Northern Car Park, it served as a central hub for regional and cross-border services for over 30 years.
The station ceased transport operations in September 2024, when Translink relocated all services to the new Belfast Grand Central Station. The final day of bus operations was Sunday 8th September 2024.
Although no longer functioning as a bus station, the site remains open for pedestrian access, providing a thoroughfare between Great Northern Mall, Glengall Street, and Hope Street.
In June 2024, the Irish News reported that MRP, the development arm of McAleer & Rushe, planned to repurpose the space into a street food market. This plan is now progressing under the name Halt Belfast, a temporary hospitality and community space expected to launch in summer 2025 as part of the broader Weavers Cross regeneration scheme.
