Located in east Belfast, Connswater Shopping Centre opened in phases between 1983 and 1994, making it one of Northern Ireland’s earliest large-scale malls. It was once anchored by major retailers such as Tesco, Dunnes, and Boots.
In August 2017, The Range opened a 57,000 sq ft store within the centre as part of a £3 million investment.
In March 2025, the centre was placed into receivership and closed permanently on 21st March 2025.
The Range, located within the shopping centre, will remain open and continue trading. All units in the adjoining retail park are unaffected by the closure and will remain fully operational.
