Cathedral Buildings

Mixed use

Cathedral Buildings, located at 62–64 Donegall Street in Belfast, is a B1 Listed building dating back to the early 1900s. Known for its distinctive brick façade, gables, and pitched slate roof, the four-storey building has long been home to small businesses, artists and creative organisations. It features four ground-floor retail units with offices and studio spaces above.

In October 2022, an arson attack caused extensive damage, displacing over a dozen tenants.

Restoration plans were approved in late 2023, including the reinstatement of key internal structures and finishes. With work now nearing completion, there is hope that many of the original tenants, particularly those in the arts and creative industries, will return and bring this important architectural and cultural landmark back to life in the heart of the Cathedral Quarter.
