Belfast Grand Central Station is a new multi-modal transportation hub that will replace the Europa and Great Victoria Street bus and rail stations. It will add 26 bus stops and 8 railway platforms.
Site preparation works began in December 2021, and all work, including public realm improvements to the surrounding area, is expected to be completed by mid to late 2025.
In August 2024, Translink announced that a phased opening of the new station would start on Sunday 8th September, with all bus services transferring from the Europa Bus Centre, which will close on Saturday 7th September. Translink also revealed that the new Grand Central Station will feature Pret a Manger, M&S, Starbucks, and BrewDog. This will be BrewDog's first location in Northern Ireland.
