In December 2024, Ryan McAleer from the Irish News confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) that Belfast-based hotel group Andras House had purchased the site for £1.7 million.
In September 2024, Andras House announced plans to develop a new £17 million YOTEL hotel in Belfast. Proposal of Application Notice (PAN) has been submitted to Belfast City Council.
